The Table Of Contents

In the picture on the right we see how content is displayed in ActiveMath. Like a book every course has a table of contents(TOC) which, for faster navigation, is always displayed on the left part of the window. Due to the fact that courses can be very large the TOC is folded, which means not the complete TOC can be seen. To unfold parts of the TOC click on the triangle to the left of the heading. book image

will unfold the subchapter What about the average toc unfolded image

When you take a closer look at the image on the right you'll notice some small coloured boxes. These boxes represent the estimated mastery regarding this chapter, subchapter or concept.

Colour explanation:

The -box means Not seen yet.

The -box means Careful, you should improve your knowledge here.

The -box means Good, but could be better

The -box means Great, you seem to know this very well.

Clicking on the -symbol on the right of the book title Up and Down: Derivatives opens a new window, book information symbol marked
which contains informations about the book like authors, editors, translators, available languages and many more. book information

There is also the possibility to increase/decrease the size of the TOC.
Clicking on expands the TOCs size.

Clicking on collapses the TOCs size.
